I am trying to use my Scheduler I got with my WinPVR 250 tv capture card, but it won't work. The support people at Hauppauge said to see if I can get Windows Task Scheduler to work. If so, my problem is half way finished. However, I can't schedule a task in Task Scheduler. I get this error:
"The new task has been created, but may not run because the account information could not be set. The specific error is: 0x8007007a: The data area passed to a system call is too small."
How do I get this blasted thing to work? I checked Microsoft support and found one thing on it, but I don't know what it's talking about. I really don't want to screw around with the registry, whatever that is. Plus, it said to install IE 5.0. I have Internet Explorer 6.0. So why shouldn't I be able to use this damn thing??
