Windows Explorer

When I open windows explorer it defaults to the folder,
Cocuments and SettingsmynameStart Menu

Is there a way to change this to a different folder?

How do you open Explorer? If its an icon you are clicking, check out the properties because its probably set to that folder.

It sounds like you open Explorer by right-clicking the Start button and choosing Explore. Try opening it from the keyboard - hold down the Windows key and the E key together. Does it open to the same place?

I always put a shortcut to Windows Explorer on my quick launch toolbar. Saves a lot of mouse clicks.

windows key-E opens to "my computer". That is perfect, I will do it that way now. Thanks a lot.

I wonder how you tell it which folder to open to.
