so my server is giving me some "pc load letter" boollshiet.
some maintenance work was done on it the other day. ever since then it only allows me to have internet access for 10 minutes before it times itself out and all the network computers, including the server can't access the web. an intrusive test was done on the t-1 line and no packets were lost. my isp said the problem was on our side of the router. I've been told that this is a common issue with microsoft server 2003. calls to dell and microsoft tech support have gotten me no where. and I suck at computers.
I have someone coming out to fix it tomorrow morning, but I have until 10pm eastern to cancel it if I can find out the solution. anyone know what's going on?
several people have told me that it happens all of the time, and that the solution is simple but none of these whiz kids wants to tell me how to fix it.
