Willow Springs golf San Antonio

number 2 sucks...seriously. It is a par 5 that is seriously a three shot par 5 with regards to reaching. The goal is to be down as long on the left as possible without going in to the pond (running through the fairway). From there you have a peek at the green (unless you are tiger you won't reach it).

Other than that it is a straight forward golf course. Play it as you see it - there is nothing tricky. There are a couple of holes that are strong doglegs right (it has bee a while since I have played it so I am not certain the numbers) that you can cut the corner with a nice draw (or like me play for your really hard seing that slices like a mofo). You can even take a high three wood over the tops of the trees and reach I am pretty certain it is seven and nine that I am thinking about).

Sit back and be prepared for a long round. It shouldn't be, but it is a relatively nice muni for a fair price and there are lots of people squeezed on it trying to take advantage of the rate.

Oh yeah - on ten if you miss to the left you will be okay. It will actually play a little shorter from the other fairway (uphill though). And don't go right near the green. There is a pretty steep hill and a bunker to contend with - and if you are right enough you will have to navigate both of those while trying to pitch under a tree.

hope this helps. If I can remember more I will post later.
