We scored 16 on OU, and NU's defense is better. But our offense has also improved since October. I think NU can seriously slow us down, but where will their points come from? I'll allow the corn 7 off a turnover and one offensive drive for a FG. We'll score enough to get by.

Texas will win this game big. I don't understand the accolades being given to Nebraska. Did anyone watch them play Va Tech, Iowa state, Baylor or Missouri?
Colt against their secondary and our defense aginst their anemic offense with an injured QB would indicate domewhere in the range of a 48-10 game. Unless Brown calls off the dogs.
This is simply a high priced BCS Championship sendoff party in Dallas. Yes, I am focused.

I'm really hoping Ivan is right. The flip side of the coin is that it appeared that we suddently forgot how to stop the run on Thanksgiving night. It will be interesting to watch how we deal with this.

I think we have trouble in the red zone and settle for more FG's, much like OU. I expect the defense to play lights out. I think NU will get one score of a turnover or special teams play.

Prediction: 34-10 Horns

Nebraska will score a FG on their opening drive, then a TD against the second-team D in the second half. Meanwhile, our offense will score 3 TD's in the first half along with a TD by the defense or special teams... half-time score 28-3. In the second half, we start to pull back on the throttle somewhat and play more conservatively, score two FGs. 34-10

There will be a defense that gets exposed on Saturday, but it won't be the one with bevo on their helmets.

Texas 37 Huskers 10 (maybe 13)..Neb off will not move the ball with the needed consistency and Texas 'O' will hit several big plays after they adjust to Neb defense...then in late 3rd / early 4th the Neb off / def will start wearing down due to their limited depth.....also expect a couple of big plays from the Texas special teams.

28+.......once we are up 14 or more points midway through the 3rd quarter the NU offense will have to start throwing much more. At that point things will get ugly.

I'll stick my cajones out there. I'm calling for 41 total UT points on Saturday. McCoy & his merry band of Untouchables follow Shipley's heroics and find magic in the Land of Oz (okay... Jerrah).

However the defense will provide some of those points as I am sensing blood in the water and Muschamp is more hungry & pissed than a Great White missing his seal catch-of-the-day off the Horn of South Africa. The D will make their statement - to say the least, make their presence painfully felt.

If the Huskers are "feeling lucky", they MIGHT score 13.

It'll look like a close one up until the 2nd quarter when Colt starts to drive his team away...
