Will Traylon Shead fit the Horns offense?

By the time these guys are freshmen in college, there would be 6 other RBs on campus with 1 of those being a senior then (McGee). Johnson annd Whitaker would be juniors as that group (Shead, Jones, Seastrunk) are freshmen.

Is there really room for all 3?

1. could he fit? sure... why not. but i feel we're going to alter the way we run in 2009... just purely out of the spread as much.

2. there was talk that he committed to aggy, but then that was retracted. either way, it seems the ags made an impression on the junior day. perhaps he got a doctorate of some sort like jeremy hills did last year ("shakology" was it?).

3. i want lache seastrunk. i'm sick of missing out of the top guy at rb every year.

4. we will have attrition at rb before any of these 2010 guys get here.. whether it's vondrell, hills, or newton.. i think someone is going to transfer.

1. I dont think Cedric Benson would fit in ya'lls offense these days.

2. Why would you guys change offenses? It would involve a complete re-vamping of the OL and skill positions...

3. Shead is probably leaning towards A&M, but he is a better fit for our offense(WCO), and we need a guy who can make holes because our OL aint doing it.

GD has shown he'll change the O to fit the players. If we have a tight end GD is comfortable with, then look for the O to change some and feature a H back to get a big time RB the lead block they need.

Cant really comment much on the Shead kid because I didnt see him play. I had a relative who coached in the Cayuga system and his boss was Shead's dad who is the principal. I can say he comes from an outstanding family. The Sheads are wonderful people

We have changed our offense since GD has arrived and still have won at least 9 games a season. I don't know that we would struggle. Would we NC caliber? probably not, but I don't think we will struggle.
