Since the Lone Star 100 class of 2010 rankings out already. Will Mack start offering scholarships after there sophomore year? Jeffcoat? Seastrunk?

My guess is that he might offer under the condition of remaining "silent" until after NSD - so that the previous class gets their day in the spotlight.

No, No limitations. tech just received a commitment from Southlake Carroll's Jackson Richards and BCG just got a commitment from an 8th grader.

Mack has set the mark for early recruiting in this part of the country, but somehow, I don't see him making a practice of pushing sophs to commit. I can see him getting a good reading on their intentions, such that he'll know who to give the full court press to when the timing is right. He might take a silent commit or two, but I don't think pushing sophomores to commit is Mack's thing.

Mack has said he wants signing day to be special for that class. He does not offer scholarships for future classes until the Seniors sign in Feb. That's why you now see a rush of commitments in late Feb. and March because that's when Mack starts to offer scholarships to Juniors.

The recruiting business is getting more and more exposure every year; with Rivals and Scout, and others. I can see in the next couple of years where Mack would offer a soph, but so much could happen, it would be risky in my opinion.
