Will BO follow his Job's Council reccomendations?

BO called on businesses to come up with some recommendations to create jobs.

among suggestions they came up with are : " an overhaul of the corporate tax structure, expansion of domestic petroleum drilling and a raft of reforms to federal regulation.

As first reported by Reuters, the new corporate tax rates should sink to "internationally competitive levels," the report says, as well as an "all-in strategy" to cut reliance on foreign fuels by promoting domestic sources."The Link


Anyone?? Do these proposals look familiar? Anyone?

Any guesses on whether he will actually follow through on any? and how he will spin it if he finally dies?

Did you ask the same question when the bi-partisan debt reduction committee, comprised of economists, Republicans and Democrats comprised a plan that tackled entitlements and taxes, that BHO said he would support but Congress, led by tea party reps, said it didn't go far right enough?

Because, this is the same thing in principle- but, well you know the story.

BO ignored the Simpson Bowles framework, why should he follow through on his jobs commission's recommendations?

Obama backs Bowles Simpson

He publicly endorsed aspects of it, said he was uncomfortable with other aspects, and if anyone here knows anything about negotiations- you don't go out and offer to give everything your opponent wants first before you ask him to move towards your position.

Gecko, what are you talking about? Obama made the commission- he clearly was in favor of large chunks of it publicly, and maybe all of it had the GOP moved towards the Simpson/Bowles plan as well.
