Begin by simply recognizing that Binary Logic is an oxymoron.
Proceed to require minimum of FOUR choices in any case where there are currently only TWO.

Hence, under "Gender" (sometimes known as "Sex", erroneously imo) your Agy database would have

[ ] Male
[ ] Female
[ ] Indeterminate
[ ] Undecided

... as noted, this is the MINIMUM, but other choices may be added or substituted as needed or desired.

All references in whatever code or rule etc. will be interpreted to reflect these choices. This may lead to promulgation of TITLE IX-M, TITLE IX-F, TITLE IX-I and TITLE IX-U.

The unaddressed item is that cheerleading is the "activity" that produces more injuries than an other for females and because it is not a "sport", there are no safety guidlines like other "sports". While I personally struggle with it being a "sport" the way it is defined in my mind, I do believe the safety standards issue is one good enough for me to call it a "sport".
