Wii Fit - okay on carpet?

Does anyone know if a Wii Fit will work on carpet. The entire apartment is carpet, so there is no way to put it on a hard surface.

I haven't tried it on carpet yet but that surprises me. It has a built in scale and weight distribution sensors that I can't imagine wouldn't be disrupted on carpet, but if you guys say so...

I would think could always go with a sheet of plywood under it if it was a problem.

It comes with extra "feet" that clip onto the balance board for use on carpet. I've compared it with the clip-ons on carpet compared to w/o and on a hard surface and the readings were the same.

I got mine from Amazon. I have yet to see one in store that wasn't being purchased by a store employee on their break...

It works perfectly fine on carpet. I cannot tell a difference when it is on carpet or a hard surface. I am anxious to see what games they start to come out with that use the board exclusively.

I weigh 10 lbs. less on carpet than I do on tile, even with the carpet feet. Otherwise, it works great.

Make sure you're using the special carpet legs that came with it. But it worked fine for me on carpet.
