Why the team is looking forward to Spring Practice starting

Wow!!!

Some serious team building, endurance building and core strengthening going on in that boot camp!!!

I can see why they want spring ball to start!

I like the '?' on the back of the shirts, where a number and name would be.

In conditioning, you don't have a position, name, or spot in the two-deep. You're just some guy. Now can you lift this thing or not?

Yep! That's how everyone starts off. What a player did last season, is in the past. What can they do now, and who wants it bad enough.

Looks like some elements of SEAL training in that workout.
I posted in random offseason news thread that my buddy's company, Acumen Performance Group, is conducting the training. They are all retired Seals. They worked with the 49ers the past off season and the Falcons the year they went to the Super bowl about 3 seasons ago. Pretty good track record other than the second half of the Super Bowl LOL.

Ok, I give Shaka an extra year for leading the team in those drills. (Also because of a few million dollars.)

Smart did this in 2016.
Why I will not put a lot of stock in it until I see a difference on the field.
No amount of seal training will help when you are then coached to basically stand in one spot on the three point line and watch someone go one on five or two teammates go two on five.

Usually they have some catch phrase like "FINISH" etc....
I thought the "?" was because Herman was like WTH do I do now ? He did call on ND for help this off-season.......

I'm pretty sure the "?" is making sure the boys know it's undetermined and is up to them to decide.

I see the ? as an expression of existential angst over one’s identity as a student-athlete in a cold and indifferent cosmos that will ultimately extinguish itself in thermodynamic heat death

It means "work your damn *** off and win all the f'ing games this f'ing year or take your lazy *** home!!" or maybe a reasonable facsimile thereof.

It is more like can you contribute as a member of a team because you cannot do this yourself no matter how talented you may be.

the great thing about a ? is that you put whatever you need in that spot until you get it answered.

as evidenced by all of the different meanings given on this thread.

I thought the question mark as an Judo Christian desire to know ones purpose for this existence as in who we are, why are we here, and where do we go after this life? But this would require 3 question marks.
