I was listening to NPR today and they had a segment on about how the Clinton campaign was upset about some of the media coverage they were getting.

The reporter do the story made a few comments about how other reporters were saying "maybe Obama IS the one" or something to that effect.

I found it amusing...or perhaps, mildly telling...

That anybody even wonders why she gets more negative press tells you more about our collective amnesia and the 'fairy tale' Clintonites have proliferated over the years than it does about media bias.

Play the victim and you'll be played as a victim. There's no mystery or conspiracy at work here. Occam's razor holds on this one.

Hillary ran of a "I am tough, bring it on" platform, Obama is running on a "I love everybody" platform. These are 2 very divergent messages. If you proclaim you are tough, people are going to test you. They don't feel guilty about attacking you, as you (atleast pretend to) invite them. Attacking someone with a positive message just appears mean.

i think the Clintons are incredibly lucky that the press hasn't been looking into their family finances. she'd be out of the race within days if we knew the full story.
