It can happen to any of them.
 
That sucks no matter who the team is the recruit has chosen. Never want this to happen and it's a real risk. I totally understand when a Blue Chipper chooses not to play in extravaganzas like this. Here is to a speedy and full recovery for the young man.
 
Not to be too contrarian, but without involving themselves in activities that present risk of injury blue chip recruits would never develop the skills that make them blue chip recruits. And not just elite athletes. My 14-year-old son isn't going to be a scholarship athlete, but we still know our way to the emergency room and could tell you about good orthopedists in the Lewisville-Flower Mound area.
