I don't get it? It seems like an unecessary 3rd party involved in a transaction that should rightly be between 2 people.

What does the Pimp offer in the exchange? Protection? I thought it was more likely for a Ho to suffer a beatdown at the hands of her Pimp than it was at the hands of her client?
