...apparently not want to believe in this team? Do you honestly think they want to be where they are, don't care where they are, and are incapaable of improving and being elsewhere?

"Believe" has worked for more than one program in the history of sport - why not try it now?

I believe ... but i'm also VERY upset at the underachieving.

I can stomach lack of talent, but we have the talent to be a great team.

Not all is lost, yet.
 
As I recall last season Oregon State had around 17 losses going into Regionals, including a sweep in Arizona and at home to Arizona State. Though their situation was much better than ours coming off of a National Championship, its not out of the question for Texas to get hot and play great ball at the end of the season. Not saying that we are going all the way, but I am pretty sure these guys will get their [censored] straight and start playing the way we know they can.

Great win last night. Lets keep it goin.

I can tell you one thing ... there will be 16 teams praying that Texas is not in their Regional come Selection Sunday.

Can you imagine having a #3 seed Texas in your bracket ?
 
Augie keeps mentioning two teams that this one reminds him of. 04 cal st fullerton team and the oregon st team that had a losing record in the pac 10 and then won it all. lets pray
 
Reading about last night's win, it was a good win. What was eye-opening to me was the almost overbearing negative commentary about and criticism of the way the team was playing (following the game thread) - even though they were winning. It's almost as if the fan base can't accept that we were winning. THAT, to me, was shocking.
 
This isn't MLB, though. The shorter season means that while .600 is a pretty good record in the bigs, it's pretty mediocre in NCAA. Especially when you add in our poor conference record to this point, too.

This team has the talent to turn it around and even win it all, but they haven't done it yet. The way they've been playing, it looks more likely that as a 3 seed in a regional, they'll go 0-2 with 5 errors in the elimination game against the 4 seed. Everytime it looks like they're turning the corner, they turn off the blinker and keep going in the same direction.
 
Because this team has no leadership.

Talent? Where is it? Does UTSA and UTA have more talent than we do!!

This team shows me less and less every week.
 
I may be one of those, notanative. Not sure Ive articulated it, but I'm real skeptical.

Tonight is great example. We beat Baylor, a lot say we've tuned the corner. I wasn't ready to buy it because I thought we'dturned the corner several times before only to be shown otherwise.

And tonight we lose to a salty UTSA team. Pretty badly.

I cant keep saying "theres gotta be a pony in there somewhere" until I see a tail ot hoof sticking out of the $hit.

The fact that I continue to "watch" pretty religiously says I must beleive somewhere deep down.
