Why do I want Leinert to fail???

I never had as much against Leinart -- despite his poor sportsmanship after the '06 RB -- as I do against Bush. The former is a decent QB who had the good fortune to be surrounded by a great team, but I doubt he'll have much of a pro career.

Bush, OTOH, is an overrated douchbag who won a Heisman Trophy over a far more deserving player, all while being paid to play, then lied about it and will never have to face the consequences of his cheating. I hope his pro career is mercifully brief.

I don't know why you would want him to fail. I hope he kicks butt, but I think the fact that he is playing for Arizona makes your joy certain.

I want Leinart to fail because of his whining after the game. I want Bush to fail because he was a pro player who has a Heisman he doesn't deserve. Mostly, though, I want Rodgers to fail in an epic fashion as if he were playing Texas Tech every game.

For some reason, Leinart's reaction after the game didn't bother me. To me it was the words a champion would say. I'm sure after every game Jordan lost he felt they shouldn't have. Because of that I respect Leinart. Unfortunately I haven't seen that same passion/confidence/whatever in the NFl and it disappoints me. But, the fact is that I respect people who always expect to win, regardless of who they are going up against (and VY, btw, epitomizes that)

(also in contrast, it bugged me when Bush said he'd have to get used to losing when going to the Texans instead of believing he could turn them around singlehandedly, which again is something VY would never do)

I don't like them because of the sense of entitlement they seem to exude. They always appear to me to expect the world to be handed to them, as it was at U$C.

I don't go so far as to cackle with glee when they lose or when they get hurt, but I sure as hell don't lose any sleep over it, either.

Because he wore a **** the BCS shirt on national tv one year and gladly raised the crystal ball the very next year when it suited him?

Because he said the best team didn't win when clearly the scoreboard showed otherwise?

He's a ******* crybaby.

God damn it tilts me when people break out the argument "obv Tex was better than USC, they won, didn't they?" Do you honestly think no team has ever won a game when they were inferior to the other team? Has aggy been better than Texas the last two years? Was Stanford better than USC last year?

Now that said, I will say 1) ML is a giant dbag, and 2) Texas 05 was at least equal to USC 05, and with VY's motivation and indomitable will, Texas def wins the game more than 1/2 the time. But don't act like winning a game is indisputable proof of a team's superiority.

I really don't care what happens to either one of them. It looks like both will have little impact in the NFL and will fade away in due time. ML's crybaby act and the oreo cookie ******** made it impossible for me to ever see him as anything but an A list LA douche bag. As for Bush, he is the exhibit 1 on a long list tending to prove that the agent/player culture at USC is out of control and should be dealt with by the ncaa. I am not holding my breath.
