Why are Ron Paul critics so dumb?

Anybody catch this clip of Ron Paul surprising MSNBC by being so darned reasonable. I had to laugh at the pompus newsman politely put in his place.

Did the newsman look stupid because he lacked the brainpower to think logically, or was he handicapped by only being willing to listen to what he wanted to hear?

The reporter can only understand simple concepts, like "you are going to eliminate X" and then naming his favorite program.

He doesn't understand that what Paul is saying is so much larger.

Paul's message needs to come from somebody other than him, unfortunately. He comes across a little bit like a crochety old man.

Puit Romney's face on Paul's message and you'd have a pretty strong candidate.
