who recommended John Roth to help me with my kitchen?

Can you PM me? I have some questions about him. Thanks.

Naw, it's me, that NCAA guy don't know **** about roofin'...

Now that we know who the roofer is, who is the boating guy? Doesn't someone on here have an almost step father in Florida that is a captain or somethin?

I got no reply. FYI, Roth's license is canceled. Anyone have any other suggestions for people who can knock out a wall and short up the structure for me? And make cabinets?

Uninformed... yeah, um... I think that was me as well. If things had gone differently back around '80 or so, Steve might have ended up as my step father... long time friend.

Check recent posts here on Horn Depot; I pulled that thread back up for you with a search of "Coast Guard".

If you have other questions, I can get Steve to reply to that thread again.

NCAA,

My envelope isn't blinking and there's nothing in my PM box.

His bid was more than fair. But it sounds like he considered me a pain in the ***? Hmmm...I only want the guy who's making sure my house doesn't fall down is licensed and bonded. Not much to ask. He said he is bonded, but state law forbids him from working without a current license. Otherwise, the contract is his. He seems like a good man. I would have liked to work with him, and, if he can get current quickly (before I find another contractor), I'm happy to award him the work.

Ralphie,

Check again to see if you have a PM. I sent a test to you... otherwise, the PM system here is broken.

John didn't say that, it's just something I added to the thread here. It wasn't a way to get you (or anyone) to back down or become "compliant" (again, my words), it was just something to compare with in relation to any other bids that customers get from any contractor.
