looked at going and even found an award flight on USScareways that would have gotten me up there for next to nothing, but got slammed in the office. I just cannot afford the time out of the office on Monday and Tuesday.
While the game is in Columbus, the Bucks won't be on their home court. Their home court is The Schottenstein Center (The Schott) on campus which will be hosting the Ohio high school girls state basketball championships. The NCAA games will be played atNationwide Arena just south of campus.
If you are coming to Columbus we are expecting mostly sunny weather, high of 46 Friday, 53 on Saturday, 56 on Sunday. The "arena district" around Nationwide Arena has a lot of good bars & restaurants, nice hotels. Between it and campus is "The Short North" area. In addition to the restaurants and bars are a lot of small galleries and shops.
Haas anyone noted that the team's routing is almost identical to our last Final Four team? First Ohio (Cinncinati), then California (Palo Alto), then to the championships in St. Louis, MO (Atlanta, GA)?
