Also, what's the 'correct' amount of time for split, cut Oak to be considered seasoned?
I picked up a LOT of Oak yesterday & if anyone has a log splitter, that would be best... I'd be willing to share out some of the wood for use of a splitter. If anyone wants to rent one, that would be OK as well.
The wood is in Dripping Springs & I have 1/2 of it still to get - ran out of time yesterday to get it.
This was two trees worth & some of these logs were about 18" or more across..
I have two chainsaws, a heave & a good, heavy sledge hammer in the event a log splitter doesn't become available & am still willing to share some if you want to cut it out / off yourself.
