I’ll not get into Sam, for crying out loud that would be awesome... but just thinking for next year.

Danny Young?
Bimage? both opted out pre season

Schooler?
Chris Brown?
Tarik?

Jrs-
Ossai
Overshawn
Ingram?

Dang, if a lot of those names, or say half, don’t come back, and it’s TH in 2021! Pretty grim!

I think anyone expected to be a 1st rounder should go. You simply can't turn down that kind of $. So that means Cosmi and Ossai. Of course Ossai is a team player and won't quit on the team, but I think the chances of seeing him at Texas next year are slim to none.

Overshown needs more time at LB. Ingram is transferring, but certainly isn't expected to be drafted. Chris Brown will be a first rounder in the IFBB Mr Olympia League. Who knows about the others.

The huge wildcard for 2021 — which could minimize the effect of a poor incoming class, at least temporarily — will be the transfers. The pool of available talent will be a one time aberration.

Texas' defense gave up 31 points to a team that was shutout by ISU. They give up 30+ points most of the time. This is with Ossai. Next year Texas won't have him. Next year Texas will have to score 40-50 a game to win. With a QB who has no experience, 4-8 looks like the probable record next season.

Now Maji, it’s not like you to be negative. What’s going on?

A=b
B=c
C does not always equal A in the world of college football.
For example, we went into the K-State missing two starting o-linemen
Logic would dictate that their defensive line would roll our offensive line. But that did not happen. In fact the opposite happened. That's just one small example, so I throw your post in the garbage.

Any running back that is going in first 3-4 rounds needs to go, their shelf life for the NFL is so small and an extra year of hits on their bodies in college just doesnt make sense if you are going to be drafted in those first four rounds.
