Who has biggest regret? Clemens or Josh Howard?

So, these guys are tooling along, Clemens on his way to the Hall of Fame; Josh Howard with a lucrative NBA career despite being drafted at end of the 1st Round and making the All Star Team once.

Clemens decides he needs to vociferously defend himself on steroid charges and is way out there on several fronts now and getting lambasted on all these fronts. Howard while not a super star was making many millions a year just to go out and maybe average 15-18 points a game.

Instead they both decided they couldn't let things rest and instead wanted to press things. Clemens has made his money but his ego and national prestige is severely damaged. Howard has probably damaged his ability to increase his value over the next few years when he should be in his prime.

Discuss among yourselves.

According to the Ticket he threw a big party that 1/3 of the team went to after the game 4 loss. Avery found out and went ballistic --thats why practice was cancelled on Monday. He was also leading the partying on South Beach during the finals meltdown

i don't think those two situations are even comparable. howard hasn't screwed his career. clemens has not only cast a dark shadow over his career but now his personal life will never be the same either. and consider now his legacy and how much financial capital he's invested into this ordeal... and also possible perjury charges in the future. not the same.

Clemens went from being considered one of the greatest of all time to being dumped on with every skeleton in his closet from the past 20 years. It's not even a close race...
