Who got the best deal on tix?

Just wondering what the scalpers were getting.

Tickets were plentiful. Lots of sellers much fewer or smarter buyers. Tickets were going for $300 each an hour before kickoff.

300-400 was what I heard. Got mine from LF, but I asked around out of curiosity.

I talked to guy who told me he payed $50 over face value for 2 tickets. This was about 2 hours before kick off.

I'm running to re-load on the brews at the beginning of the 2nd qtr. and some guy stopped me and asked if if row K was too low in Sect. 26! He had just paid $175 for the ticket...

A buddy was given a free single 50-YL ticket from a friend who works for a UT-affiliated construction company. After some considerable negotiation, he bought a separate ticket (very near that seat) for his lady friend from a contact of mine for about $500 -- one hell of a deal from what I could tell.

Had 3 friends each get in for $300 from a scalper 2 hours before kickoff, one was a 50yd line seat.

not me...i bought mine 2 months before the game off stubhub, but at least it was somewhat worth the piece of mind knowing i was going to the game (except for a few nailbiting minutes during the nebraska game). scalpers were accepting face as we were walking into the stadium 1 hour before kickoff.

We got ours for face value on the 10yd line.

Lucked into them...pretty amazing how it worked out actually. I got a really great photo of Colt warming up....

My brother had two extra he sold for $300, and my cousin got his for $140 about 30 min before kickoff.

Mine was $525.

Wait a minute...

There were tickets available on game day for reasonable prices and they weren't counterfeit. That can't be right. What about our resident financial advisors' warnings? These guys are pretty sophisticated. It's hard for me to imagine they would totally miss on their market forecast.
