I think you mean T-Nick (Tommy Nicholson). That's a revered name among those of us who witnessed and cheered the multi-year reconstruction of the Longhorn Baseball Dynasty. Billy B was before my time so T-Nick was the slickest fielding Longhorn 2Bagger these eyes have ever seen. Plus a very sweet .367 BA his final (junior) season, the magical return to Omaha in 2000.

T-Nick was a member of the "leap of faith" recruiting class that arrived in '98. Don't ever forget that the kids of the '98, '99, and '00 freshman classes laid the foundation for what we enjoy today.

Had tears when I got to Fan Appreciation Day and learned the painful lesson of College Baseball that juniors often leave for the bigs when I saw the roster with NO Tommy and his brother Todd West in the middle. Painful. Where in the Hell is Charlie Thames?!?
