Playing the way they have in the last two games, none of these. No wins here and its 8-8 as a best case scenario.

Playing like they did in Nov and Dec, all of them.

This does not include two tough games at home against Baylor and OkSt.

I don't know which game Texas will win, but given five opportunities to pull an upset at home or overcome homecourt advantage against a team with equivalent or nearly equivalent talent, I have to think Texas will win at least one.

Maybe a better question is whether they lose one of the other games.

I think we beat Tech and one of Okie State (home), Nebraska, Colorado.

6-10 conference record, 17-13 overall and an NIT berth.

Many thought we would destroy K State and also beat Mizzou in Austin. Nothing is a given with this team. It is currently in disarray.

Impossible to tell. If we play like the last two games... maybe 0. But the difference between making and missing a shot in basketball is small. I really can't believe everyone will continue to shoot this poorly. Maybe Abrams will get hot in some games.

Maybe something will click at some point and the offense will start playing better. I can't imagine us continuing to play this poorly. Something will click. Barnes is experimenting right now and trying to find a formula that works.

I still have some faith. I think we'll split the remaining games and slip into the tournament as a low seed, and then get beat in the first round and get ready for next year.

Texas this year looks like a NIT team. So they are having an off year, next year they will be much better. Several players not producing, guard play is questionable at best. Texas will have a difficult time finishing .500 in conference play.

Things look bad right now, but hopefully we can win right the ship and win our home games against OSU, Baylor, and TT as well as get a road win against OU. That gets us to 8-8.

I figure the rest are losses, but I wouldn't put it past the Horns to pull off an emotional home win against the Sooners. A signature win like that will probably get us in to the tourney (along with Barnes good reputation).

Otherwise, we may need to 2 wins in the Big 12 championship. Second game might be a play-in game against someone like KSU.

KSU has pretty much no shot either. Their OOC wins are all awful, with 2 very bad losses. Granted, to a casual observer of the sked the losses don't look that bad, Oregon and Iowa, but those teams are very bad teams. Iowa just snapped Indiana's 14 game skid. KSU is 2-2 vs the Top 50, 4-6 vs the top 100. They have two wins that mean anything at all, UT and MU, the other 2 top 100 wins are Cleveland State and Southern Miss, #87 and #90, who are themselves 3-10 vs teh Top 100.

Big 12 NCAA looks like this:

LOCK: OU, KU
GOOD SHAPE: MU
GOOD SIDE OF BUBBLE: UT
BAD SIDE OF BUBBLE: TAMU, OSU, BU
NEXT TO NO SHOT: KSU, NU
0%: ISU, CU

Obviously a lot can change over the next few weeks. But, due to the OOC, things are much more fluid for Baylor, A&M and OSU to improve their stock than for KSU and NU, esp b/c neither of them can beat OU (in the regular season at least), which is the only HUGE impact win available this year in the Big 12.

sooner518,
I know Tech is bad this year, but not to even be mentioned in the 0%ers is worse than either Knight or Gerald Myers would have ever imagined.
