Who are those Baylor guys?

Lacedarius Dunn averaging over 2 assists per game? He went something like 12 conference games before getting a single one last year.

Anthony Jones averaging over 6 rebounds a game? He established himself last year as having the extraordinary distinction of being the only 6'10" in the history of college basketball to finish a season with more missed 3 point attempts than rebounds.

Oh, yeah, they're up 3 with under 2 minutes to go.

Baylor is a huge team.

Baylor wins it 64-61 over ASU, which was ranked earlier this year.

Big 12 starts 4-0 over the Pac 10 in the Hardwood Series.

With the addition of an elite talent like Ekpe Udoh, Baylor will have much more of a balanced inside-out game as opposed to the smurf 3 guard lineups of the past. Lace Dunn is struggling to find his shooting rhythm, but Tweety Carter has been unconscious in recent wins over Arizona State and Xavier. Role players like Anthony Jones, Quincy Acy, and Josh Lomers have improved dramatically from last year. Baylor was picked as low as 10th in the big 12, but with the emergence of Udoh we could surprise some people.

And by the way, the PAC 10 blows.

Of the little bit I saw, I was impressed with Udoh. Good feet on the offensive side and the step thru and dump off to Acy was timely and terrific.
