WHISKEY BALLS
No you drunks, it's not a disease you get from drinking too much whiskey. It's dessert!

* 1/4 cup cocoa
* 1/4 cup light corn syrup
* 1 pound vanilla wafers, crushed until very fine
* 1/2 cup Bourbon whiskey, or whisk(e)y of your choice
* 1 cups pecans, chopped fine
* Confectioner's sugar

Mix first five ingredients, form into balls about 1 inch across. Roll in powdered sugar. Refrigerate for 6-10 hours, or over night, until firm.

A guys wife sent some to work a few yrs ago right before Christmas-- soaked them like 3 days-- we had a great afternoon--no cooking ever took place-- good stuff
 
My first thought was that this thread should have been on 3:16....
