Whirlpool bathtub questions

My new place has one of these with 6 jets etc and no manual.

Is there anything I need to know about maintenance? Any tips?

I seem to remember no sope or bath salts or crap like that? The GF has all that crap and dumps it in whenever she uses the bathtub.

Any tips or anecdotes appreciated.

DO NOT let the gf use bubble bath, salts, etc.

The following advice is from Mrs. baboso:

Run a weak bleach solution through the jets every couple of weeks. This is especially important if the whirlpool jets don't get a lot of use to impede fungus. That's about all the maintenance needed.

The gf may be interested to know that snuggling up to those jets can be a masturbatory experience. You may not have to worry about the tub not getting much use.

If I'm not running the jets can she use bubble bath etc?

Yeah, that's not a problem. You just don't want to be getting the bubble bath, salts, etc. drawn into the pump. Not to mention the bubble volume would probably quadruple in size if ran through the jets.
