Which Wich

Went for the first time last week and thought it was pretty good. I know there are a lot of sandwich places out there, but i'm putting Which Wich up there.

Yes or no?

USed to go to the one on Main in Dallas when I worked downtown. Very tasty and a nice change of pace occasionally, but I didn't feel that the amount of food you got for the price justified a regular visit.

But it goes fast. Very effecient design. I am OK with the quantity/price. My 'which is usually under $5 and I get water & no chips. Very reasonable.

They just opened one up by TCU and my wife's been there. She said it's a really good sandwich with fresh ingredients and echos the bang for your buck line.

Maybe they have lowered their prices or something but I always remember getting a sandwhich (the buffalo chk IIRC) chips and a drink to be somewhere north of $9.

I don't remember it being that expensive. The italian sandwich is amazing. Their shakes are pretty damn good too. I don't go there anymore though, because pita pit is next door and that place is the tits!!

I go to the original location on Main in Dallas once every few months.

I think it is solid, but I try not to go to one place too often, except Miguel's for Tex-Mex (once a week). Need to space things out amongst sandwhich shops.

yeah I agree it's good....a lot fresher than a lot of sandwhich places....the one on guadalupe is always way too packed.

There is a very fine line between toasting sandwich bread to perfect crispness and toasted sandwich bread that tears up the roof of your mouth. Which Wich never crosses this line so they get a thumbs up from me.

Actually the original was the one at the Galleria Dallas...but that's just splitting hairs. It's owned by the same guy who operates Genghis Grill.

Just ate there today as a matter of fact. Sandwiches are good, but not outstanding. I echo the sentiment that you don't get a lot for what you pay for. They are smaller than Subway sandwiches albeit better tasting.

All the sandwiches are $4.25 + tax. Chips are $1.25 and drinks are $1.50. Pretty pricey for a "combo meal". But, considering that my sandwich options are Subway, Corner Bakery, La Madeline, Sonny Bryant's and Grand Lux...I eat there. But, if they threw a Jason's Deli or Schlotzky's in the mall I would never go again.

Take it for what it's worth.

Never heard of it, but it sounds like a place I need to try. I thought this thread was going to be about this:

Austin Java charges $3.79 for ONE pancake. Now, its a very good pancake. But I could get an entire roll of fat from magnolia/kerbey for the same price. What is with that?

Back on topic: I like my hummus for $4.25. By comparison I seem to spend $7 or $8 and thundercloud. When fast food is $8 I think I'd rather get pseudo-slow food for $5 at a diner like magnolia and leave a $3 tip.
