Which Indy is your favorite??

LOOOOVED the original that started it all, but I gotta tip my hat to Crusade. It had all the elements of the first movie with what I believe to be better action sequences on the whole, more thought-provoking artifactery and puzzlement, and best of all, James Bond.

Could watch them both without tiring, but I kinda prefer the third installment over the others. Didn't care much for Temple and it looks like Skull may take down Temple as my least favorite.

I liked them all. That said, Jones character changed drastically from the first movie to the follow ups. Temple and Crusade took some dark moments from the first one and turned them into cute little memes which was ultimately to the detriment of the series. In the first movie, Jones was an anti-hero, more rogue than gallant. In the ones which followed he was more of a whisical adventurer who stumbled through the tasks presented.

-Raiders is the the best.
-Temple is the attempt to establish a franchise.
-Crusade was the best realization of the franchise Indy.

Gotta be the first. Opening scene grabbed you from the start. Action mixed with dialogue so as not to seem overdone. Loved the historical significance of the Ark. Temple was pathetic. Crusade was good but added a little too much goofiness with Connery's character for my taste.

temple was the first one i saw when i was 10-ish, and it became my favorite movie for a while. for that reason i think its my favorite of the 3, though i can definitely tell why most people would disagree.

I'm shocked -- shocked I tell you -- to find more than one answer to this question.

Crusade is a good movie. Temple has its moments but is uneven. Raiders is one of the great movies of all time. The poster who said Indy chasing after the Ark in the truck was one of the all time great action sequences is on point.

I'd actually put a couple episodes of Young Indy that were better than Temple.

Raiders is Star Trek 2 while Crusade is 4. The latest movie is better than Temple of Doom

Raiders, and it is no contest. The opening of the ark and the melting / disintegration of the Nazis was unexpected and excellently scary.

Have not seen Skull yet, but #1 is #1 because it has the best of the trilogy's heroines: Karen Allen.
