I was out for my son's HS Lacrosse game and had to miss the Rice game. Was sure there would be at least a couple of pages of a game thread here. Pretty shocking to find none!

Let us get it going, guys... The horns are looking pretty good, despite some early hiccups. (Actually still not looking that great on offense, but we are pitching fine - as expected).

I tried to update a little on the thread posted above, when the game in live and the radio, it seems that the updates are few are far between.

I know another site had about 5 pages of the game, which is where I have gone for the games I have missed.

I think it's primarily streaming video - i don't check game threads much anymore given i can watch almost every game on the thread.

but i miss the old days of following games on internet radio and hornfans.com game threads on dial-up internet.

What Endust said. I'd freeze the video when I'd switch between full and small screen so I just stopped and watched.

As for last night (I was there).....our guys played the outfield at Minute Maid better then the Astros. i sat 3rd base side surrounded by Rice fans and even they were giving it up for us on those catches.

This just in....we are legit good. None of this 5 star Nike camp good....we are for real good.

Rupp looks like a major leaguer already. About that shot he hit to center....he was just a little under it or it would have been out of Minute Maid at the deepest point. It would have knocked a chunk out of the wall on impact.

Come on Iowa is not very good and Texas struggles to get hits against them? Texas pitchers strike out 20 but No offense? I will be retiring in 2 weeks and I plan on going to several UT baseball games.
