Where to stay on South Padre Island

Going for a weekend in July. Any recommendations on where to stay? Would like a small condo near the beach for two people. Thanks.

I can't help you with a condo, but if you end up looking for a hotel, the Sheraton is really nice. The pool is great and its on the beach as well.

I second the Sheraton. The float up bar is pretty much the **** and all the girls walking around in white ralph lauren bikins is not bad either.

Another vote for the Sheraton. They have "condo style" rooms as well that face the ocean. I think they're 2 BR condos with a pull out couch, so you could sleep 6 no problem.

The pool rocks, and so does the hot tub. And the place is nice enough to keep out the rif-raff.
