I live in NW Austin, where's the best place to get organic fruits and vegetables?

I like the farmer's market downtown on Saturday mornings (Republic Square). It may be a bit of a drive for you but the selection there is great.

Of course there's always Whole Foods.

I live in the Clear Lake area? I have tried the Galveston farmers market, but am looking for other options.

Buying local is always your best bet. Supporting local, organic farmers is the "greenest" thing you can do.

I know with local honey you can help build your immunity or lessen your allergies. Does the same work for native veggies and fruits? I am about to venture into planting some things in the backyard when I finish a couple other projects. I am glad to have extra room in the yard.

WF produce is generally excellent, from what I've had. Of course, there's just something cool about picking out your produce at a farmer's market and talking to the people who grew it.
