Where to get married in Mexico

The future wife and I are considering a destination wedding and one of the locations was Mexico, right now with limited research we like Cabo and Puerto Vallarta. I was wondering where people have been for such an occasion in Mexico and what the liked and disliked. Thanks in advance.

I've been to 2 weddings in Playa and liked them a lot.

The wedding party of a houston couple got robbed during the wedding. it had to be an inside job. the robbers had pass keys to all the rooms and a pass code to open all the locked safes. They took over $100,000 in money and jewerly. the hotel and police were less than helpful.

went to a wedding in puerto vallarta that was held here. we (the guests) stayed at dreams and everything worked out really well.

we got married in Playa 4 years ago at an all inclusive resort, had about 80 guests, it was fun and easy for us
(didn't get robbed either)

I like the idea of getting married on the beach. Tulum would be amazing with the water and the pyramids right there. I don't know if it is even possible to get married there and I don't think that you would stay there, but I like the idea. (Gettin' in touch with your inner Maya.)

Never been, but I'm considering www.tideszihuatanejo.com/ for my honeymoon. Research about the area shows it's pretty nice.

Second for Punta Mita.

It's far enough from PV that it's not so commercial, but only a 45min cab ride when you want to see the old town for a day or two.
