Where to find real chorizo in Austin?

I can't find any Spanish Chorizo (not the Mexican imposter, which I know people love, but I can't stand). In Houston, I used to get it at Specs or another local grocer. I can't seem to find it here. I was told it was at Central Market, but nobody could help me find any. I've tried a couple of wine places too, but, alas, no luck.

Is the spanish stuff more like salami? My wife had a caterer last night bring paella and her menu referenced chorizo and described it more like salami. I could hook you up with her if that is along the lines you are looking for. In SA, but I'm sure somehting could be worked out.

Its like salami. I asked the ******** at Central Market. I walked along with this guy for 15 minutes before he said they didn't have it. I'll try again. Maybe he was just hired.

Goddamit, I said Phoenicia, and I MEAN Phoenicia.

They have it, or at least they usually do. For certain odd exotic foods, they're the best place in town.

there are a few things about which you don't **** with brisket. food happens to be one of them.

Last time i went out to visit my parents in west texas, i stocked up and brought back about 10 packages. I cannot stand the stuff they sell in N. austin.

And i was wondering how many replies it would take to get a joke out of this
