Where to buy homemade flour tortillas in Austin

I am making some brisket tacos and looking for some good flour and corn tortillas Where to buy homemade tortillas in Austin? I would like to buy some good tamales as well.

Most Taquaria's make their own.

If you live near a Casa Garcia's, their flour tortillas are damn good.

As for tamales, HEB has a store brand that's pretty darn good. Unfortunately, I can't remember the brand, but it's not Hill Country or any of the regular HEB brands.

Some HEBs make fresh tortillas as does Fiesta at I-35 and 38th. Actually, my spouse thinks Taco Cabana makes the best fresh flour tortillas around if you like them on the thick and doughy side.

taco cabana.. you can buy them by the dozens. they have some of the best in Austin

HEB makes tortillas in store that I always thought were really good. They're flour, I don't know if they make corn ones or not.

Central Market tamales are excellent, as are their flour tortillas. I don't know if they do corn.

Teh HEB tortillas are good, but you got to finish them on a hot skillet.

I just wanted to chime in also for Taco C. Don't let their rep dissuade you from trying them. My wife is half Mexican, and they are the only ones in town she'll buy.

(and she's truly very particular about them. me personally, I just grab some from whatever grocery store I'm at, and she always gives me **** about that)

Best corn tortillas in town are found at Angie's and it isn't even close. They're like mexican pancakes. Unreal.
