Looking to get a fried turkey for Christmas dinner. Not sure if you can get one that is NOT frozen, but that would be ideal.

Thanks in advance!

Do a google search. There are quite a few spots. You can even order them mail-order and have them shipped, if you're not inclined to do it yourself. We do it here for the holidays, and my cousin in Illinois had the opportunity to try one, and they get them mail-order every year.

We got one from Popeye's for Thanksgiving. It was quite good, and not very spicy. I'm sure they'll be doing them for Xmas, too. You have to arrange it well in advance, though.

I know Holy Smokes -- a BBQ joint on Hillcrest & NW Highway in Dallas (a block or two north of University Park) -- had them for Thanksgiving.

Already did a google search and only found a couple local places, but had never heard of them before. Remembered seeing some BBQ place around here that had them for Thanksgiving, but couldn't remember which one. CancerMan - I'll look into that place you're talking about.

Thanks all!
