where is a good place to rollerblade?

Im trying to learn how to rollerblade and I'm looking for a good place to learn. Any suggestions?

You mean inline skating?

Try the Veloway, down south off of Mopac. It's basically a running-track style place for rollerblading. Good place to go and learn how to stride...really smooth surface.

Otherwise, there's a couple of roller rinks you can go to...Round Rock Roller Rink, off of 620, just north of Parmer.

the Velloway is better suited for someone who's been on them a few times, as there are a couple of steep inclines. If you are truely learning, go to the Zilker park soccer fields, and skate around the parking lot. It's smooth, wide, and most importantly, relatively flat.
