Where can you buy coffee beans in DALLAS?

I'm not going to pay $11 or more to ship beans from Houston to Dallas, so Cuvee is out of the question. I want a place that knows how to medium roast beans in Dallas.
Is there place that can roast beans some way besides "FRENCH ROAST" in Dallas?

There used to be a couple who had a booth at Dallas Farmers' Market that sold good roasted coffee beans but I don't know if they're still there.

Texas Roast has AWESOME coffee...best I've ever had, for my taste. They have two locations; one in Rockwall and the other in Highland Village. If that's not convenient, you can order on line at The Link

They roast all their coffee on site...great stuff.

My persoal favorites are "Cowboy" and "Kenya Muburi Kirinyaga", boh dark roasts.

My quick trip back home went from 4 days & 3 nights to 2 days & 1 night. A trip to BFE is not going to be in the cards for this Dallasite, entonces I'm thinking that Central Market is going to have to do.

Ojala for a Costa Rican medium roast from some kind of decent bean.

White Rock Coffee on NW Highway roasts their own beans on-site. Good place.

Today I went to White Rock Coffee.
They were MORE than helpful. First I had a lady help me for about 5 minutes, then a little bit later their roaster offered to roast up some of the beans that matched the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf label that I had brought in to show what I normally preferred.

Then after looking over some other coffees, the roaster guy came over (in between dumping in new batches of beans into the roaster) to give me a play by play of what the different varieties available would agree with what I liked.

They basically made a customer for life (when I'm in Dallas) as well as an Disciple who will spread their gospel on this Good Friday.

Now, I just hope that the coffee matches up to the service. But I recommend WHITE ROCK COFFEE to any and everyone in Dallas.

The one draw back- They don't usually give a free small coffee to people who buy a pound. (But they did give me one after I asked about it.) I think that this should be a practice for ALL coffee houses.
