Where are we putting POWs?

All this talk of Bush and the wars reminded me of the AbuGraib incident( which was deplorable and thank goodness stopped) and the promise by BO to close GITMO prison.

So where is the gov't housing the prisoners the military has taken since BO took office? I havn't read anything about that.

BO is killing the bad guys with drones so there aren't any prisoners. There was a CIA guy on tv the other day claiming that there is no one to question.

I know BO is using drones and that is effective. I think that is smart as it keeps our people over there safe. But I wonder how the drone separates the terrorist from any civilians when it hits?

However we are engaged in firefights all the time and we do sweeps in areas known to hide terrorists or insugents or whatever they are.
so in all the gound fighting that has gone on in both iraq and Afghanistan for 3.5 years we haven't gotten one POW or detainee or whatever

That is hard to believe
but I tried to do a search and pehaps i just didn't use the right words.

Maybe someone can do a better search.

I think we turn them over to the Afghani army....not sure though....
