When your ex got engaged

Did you feel strange at all?

Found out not long ago that my ex of roughly 2 years is engaged... less than 9 months after we broke up. It's no surprise, this guy is a cookie cutter of her high school boyfriend she never did get over.

I have dated several awesome women since we parted and in no way do I wish she and I were still together. I would be just as happy never to see my ex again.. but I don't wish anything bad to happen to her or even for this relationship to fail.

So why do I feel a little weird about this? This makes the 3rd woman I have dated who married the next guy they were with. Does that mean something I am not aware of?

I was already married. Got invited and went to her wedding. We hadn't been tgether for about 6 years so it wasn't a bi deal to either of us or my wife, since she knew her too.

four months later, she got divorced.

When the girl I dated for 2 yrs got pregnant and was planning a shotgun marriage with the next guy she met. I actually felt sorry for the guy. He has to spend the rest of his life with that crazy. He's in for a world of sh*t.
 
by no means am I chest pumping on this issue, but Sapo, I've been the last guy a girl has dated before she got married 8 relationships in a row. Ladies joke around with me, saying they'll date me and cut out early so they can marry the next guy they meet. I choose to look at my plight as being almost exactly what every girl wants in a guy.

But, sometimes it does feel a bit odd when I hear that they're getting married, especially the ones that marry so soon after we split up, or the girls that leave me for someone else.
 
I wish my ex would get married, or at least laid, so she wouldn't bug the **** out of me so much. I swear the other day she told me she hadn't been with anyone since I left 2.5 years ago.

Believe me, if we didn't have a daughter together, I wouldn't have anything to do with her.

The last two years we were together we had sex 4 times so going 2.5 years without wouldn't be that difficult for her. Damn near killed me though and was of course a big reason for me leaving. I never cheated though and it is something I am extremely proud of. God I wanted to though.
