I have bad oak allergies and from March until June (it seems) oak kills me. It was at its worst about a month ago. But on my oak trees, I have noticed that I am not seeing as oak pollen as before. But online it shows that "tree/oak allergies" are still high.
Have you been tested recently? You could be allergic to something else that in combination with your oak allergies, makes you more miserable. That other item could be reduced right now which would lessen your reactions.
When I get headaches or allergy symptoms I try to write down the pollens and counts. Then I can track it. Days of high mold with certain pollens can do me bad. So I prevent it or lessen it by beefing up on the med's. It works most times.
Hmm. My only symptons are congestion and sneezing. Like sneezing 10 times in a row. Sometimes in the middle of the night.
I take 12hr Allegra (prescription) and that has helped but I have started to stop taking it. Didn't take it yesterday morning or this morning (but have at night before going to bed). And I seem to be doing better. Just wondering if Oak is dropping off....
I haven't had to sweep the stuff from my curb in over a month. Certain grasses like Bermuda can be bad in May. Used to kick my *** in Dallas, but not a prevalent here in Austin.
