I think I found the perfect bean. Puerto Rican Yacao Selecto at HEB Central Market is like $14 a lb, but it has floored me every time I grind it up. Great body with a very smooth finish. coffee info

Community Coffee, Ruta Maya, and 8 o'clock Coffee.

I bought a 2.2lb bag of Ruta Maya beans at Costco and I have grinded up about 3 ziploc bags full. But that Ruta Maya bag in my freezer looks to be like half full still. It is reproducing. I like it but I am too lazy to grind beans before I make coffee. THe cleanup is what is a ***** for me.

So I prefer Community Coffee right now. I have 2 of their roasts.

Kona Peaberry whole bean. We're members of a small Kona, HI plantation's monthly coffee club.

Folgers bags. No one else drinks coffe in the family and I'm not gonna brew for myself every morning. Yeah, I'm ok with cheap coffee/

Cinnamon from Buffalo Grill. Every once in a while I like to get a batch of flavored coffee. Then I get sick of it and go back to plain.

Nespresso Ristretto.

But I have to say the PR Yacao is very smooth, and is probably my favorite from CM.

The Costa Rican french roast from Costco - around $8 for a two-pound bag, and very tasty. I've had better, but for the money it can't be beat, especially when ground fresh each morning.

I'm a huge fan of the Nespresso Ristretto as well. I also like the Roma. A friend of ours who lives in Italy turned us on to the Nespresso machines and coffees, and it's just incredible how good the espresso is.

For standard American coffee, I've been drinking a lot of the Community as well, due to advice found on this very message board.

Is there anything that Hornfans don't know???

I really like the Starbucks Cafe Verona whole beans. For those of you who don't like grinding beans, you should get a coffee machine that grinds them up automatically.

Presently, I'm enjoying the Sumatra, either Starbucks or bulk from Central Market. My second choice would be similar to Mac's except I prefer Bailey's instead of Kahlua

Starbucks Komodo Dragon.
My daughter works at Starbucks. Doesn't pay very well, but she keeps me well-stocked!

I'm roasting my way thru a bunch of obscure varietals that Sweet Marias sent me with my I Roast 2 thing. Hope to find a real French Roast somehow, somewhere,

i recently started drinking columbian decaf coffee crystals after local restaurant secretly switched it with my regular coffee.
