Whats up with rushing the court?

Has it gotten that bad in Lincoln that you rush the court after beating a team that will be unranked in a couple days? I think they went full retard on that one.

Nebraska winning vs UT in any sport is a major accomplishment in the minds of NU fans. Them rushing the floor as if they beat a top 5 team today proves it.

It's Nebraska basketball. We're Texas. Anything you beat Texas, it's a big deal regardless of how crappy we're playing. If they were playing #17 Kansas State or #17 Colorado or #17 Missouri they probably wouldn't be rushing the court. The name on the jersey has a special meaning to them.

Multiple times when they were showing shots of the crowd, I saw a few people doing the Horns down. Pretty odd for a Big 12 North team. I'll take it as respect I guess.

Rushing the court after your first victory at home against a ranked conference opponent in three years is somewhat understandable AND a comment on where the program is.

Complaining about it instead of just congratulating the opponent's fans for a well played game is whining.

I'm certainly not complaining about the Nebraska fans rushing the court. If they want to look like fools that's their business, as long as no one is physically hurt by it. It is funny as hell though.
