What's up with Daniel Gibson?

An SI writer talks about Lebron needing more help against Orlando, which begs the question as to why Daniel Gibson isn't getting more minutes. He was a big reason for the Cavs' playoff success a couple years ago, but he doesn't seem to play as big a role since and he logged a whopping 3 minutes in Game 1 against the Magic. I don't follow Cleveland that much, but does anyone know why Daniel isn't getting more playing time?

In the earlier playoff series he was about 2/25 during the time I watched. For whatever reason, his shot isn't falling. He also had some pretty sloppy turnovers in garbage time. I think he needs to find a way to get his focus back. Otherwise he'll be riding the pine the rest of the way.

When the Cavs signed Mo Williams, Gibson was destined to warm the bench. Williams is a better point guard than Gibson and he shoots the three ball just as well, if not better.

With that being said, he has more than sucked thus far in the playoffs.

Yes, 41% career 3 point shooters just grow on trees.

I know Daniel has been struggling lately, but he can't possibly shoot any worse than West, Williams and others have been shooting. It is time for the Cavs to put him in and let him jack a few and see what happens. It can't hurt. They are playing attrocious basketball so far in the series. If he doesn't play in game 4, Brown is an idiot.

Daniel has his mind on other things..

I heard he hit 2 3's in the 1st half of game 4. I saw the 2nd half and saw him miss 2 open 3's in a row when the Cavs had a lead. It helped Orlando get back into the game.
