What’s the True story on Murray and Ehlinger after the RRR?

Video is posted somewhere, looked like Sam came up from behind to say good game but Murray took it wrong said something and then Sam shot back at him. Murray is not used to losing so have to imagine he was not in good place after that game and it showed.

The way I heard it is that Sam patted Murray on the helmet to get his attention. When you are shorter than average, you can take being patted like that as an affront, even if Sam didnt mean it that way. Kyler is really arrogant, so he won't overlook a slight of any sort.

That’s what I’ve heard too. Was listening to an ou podcast and they indicated Sam started it... Just didn’t add up to me. Was wondering if there was statement anywhere about it.

When you are short, is it really possible to overlook ANYTHING?

Asking for a friend LOL!

Let’s just hope that the scenario repeats itself again Saturday. I’m projecting that Sam will have 4-5 wins against them by the time he finishes...

You make a good point. The only UT QB to beat OU 4 times is Peter The Great. I thought that Sam could not equal that since we lost last year, but I did not think about the CCG, which Gardere did not have available to him.

I still don't see the arrogance that you guys reference. He just seems like a guy with the skills of a superstar but the persona of a left guard. He doesn't like the spotlight. Mayfield liked the spotlight. Ehlinger is brash and embodies his coach. If you're a rival you think he's a d***. When he yells "take the L Pu***" it validates that perception. I'm sure if my skin didn't break out when it touched burnt orange, I'd love that dude.
