I went with my wife and mother to see "The Exorcist."

I knew little about it beforehand.

I took both Mom and Dad to see "Deliverance."

We discussed the Georgia scenery and white water canoeing afterwards without ever mentioning Burt Reynolds skill with a bow, mutant musicians or Ned Beatty squealing like a pig.

My wife and I also saw all the Godfather movies with them.

And "Midnight Cowboy" with Jon Voight turning tricks as a boy toy....

And "The Last Picture Show" with Cybill Shepard stripping naked on a Wichita Falls diving board....

And "The Graduate" with Ann Bancroft seducing Dustin Hoffman.

It's all funny now, but those were some fairly raunchy movies to see in a theater sitting there with your parents.

Good times.

"Blow Up".

That was before the ratings system. I told my parents it was a murder mystery...which it was, sorta. But it had a raunchy (for the times, 1967, and for my age, 15 or 16) scene or two. I had read about it in a Playboy issue that I had snuck into the house.

Of course, I was reading Playboy just for the movie reviews and other articles.

By today's standards, the flick would probably be PG-13...definitely not an R.

I just saw Knocked Up with my Mom over Christmas -- the unrated dvd version, too. That was a little uncomfortable. But at least I'm an adult now. As a kid, it was probably "The Name of the Rose." That sex scene with Christian Slater's narrow white *** bobbing around was not something to share with one's mom.

Pink Flamingos

ok, ok, just kidding, but if the question had just ended with the title of the thread this would have been my answer.

I was about 12 or 13 when my father got the idea to take me to the movies. For some reason he decided on "The Kentucky Fried Movie". I can stil remember the "Catholic school girls in trouble" skit as well as the scene where the newsmen can watch the couples that are watching them. Pretty funny and definitely raunchy, but I enjoyed it.

Not me, but last year my wife and one of her friends took my daughter and her friend (both 15) to see "Knocked Up", not realizing how explicit it was. I think it was more uncomfortable for the moms...

My parents took me and my brothers to see Eddie Murphy - Raw in the theater. It came out in 1987, making me 12 years old. I learned a lot that night...

I saw Borat with my in laws.

Caliguila with mom and grandmother is the winner of this thread though. Although that is a win I am glad I don't have. Sick just sick.

Pillowbook with my mom. What a weird *** movie, especially when your mother begins to laugh out loud at the full view of a penis.
