What's the deal w/ Deandre Daniels?

After quite a few reports that he was going to enroll at Kansas, it's apparently going to be another semester at IMG for Deandre. The plan is now to enroll somewhere for the Fall of 2011. What happened to the KU plans? First, it was just him waiting for a Pell Grant, then it was rumored that Daniels was a lock to enroll with his buddy Christian Garrett (friend from California and at IMG Academy who's already enrolled and a walkon) as walkons at KU. Now, he's staying at IMG...

Anyone know if his recruitment is still ongoing? And, more precisely, is Texas still after him?

It's a shame a player that reportedly likes UT the best, patterns his game after KD and would in all likelihood have a SF spot waiting for him after Hamilton goes pro, most likely isn't coming to Texas. Why? Possibly another one of those father (thinks he) knows best situations.

Perhaps there's a ray of hope; we could really use him.

The delay is good because he was most likely going to sign with Kansas.

Maybe if our year continues and we go deep into the tournament, he will decide to come here.
