He has had some medical issues and is getting older. I think it could be a combo of him toning it down some work wise and for his blunder earlier. He is going to take it easy before making the decision to flat out retire.
I know he has his detractors but I am not one of them. I will greatly miss his presence and especially on Gameday Saturday mornings.
College Football has its share of douchebag analysts on TV- Corso is not one of them. I love him- I think he's a guy we'd all want as our uncle or granddad growing up. Inside his quackiness there is real football knowledge. Compare him to say Lou Holtz or that ex-UGA QB they drag out onto the tv set. Anytime Texas' games are on Fox sports I have to put it on mute just to make it through without hearing "back to you Knoxy!"
