What's happened to Corso?

haven't seen him on any of ESPN's bowl coverage--was he axed after dropping the F-bomb while Game Day was at Cougar High?

He has had some medical issues and is getting older. I think it could be a combo of him toning it down some work wise and for his blunder earlier. He is going to take it easy before making the decision to flat out retire.

I know he has his detractors but I am not one of them. I will greatly miss his presence and especially on Gameday Saturday mornings.

I saw him a couple of times...

I've learned to SOAK him up...not knowing when he'll take off....

I love the guy...

College Football has its share of douchebag analysts on TV- Corso is not one of them. I love him- I think he's a guy we'd all want as our uncle or granddad growing up. Inside his quackiness there is real football knowledge. Compare him to say Lou Holtz or that ex-UGA QB they drag out onto the tv set. Anytime Texas' games are on Fox sports I have to put it on mute just to make it through without hearing "back to you Knoxy!"

I hope Lee Corso works as long as he wants to.

Not so fast my friend... I like the old coache's comments and wit -hope he is around a little longer before they retire him.

That stroke he suffered 2-3 years back affected him, no doubt. But he's still entertaining.

Question: when he retires who replaces him? Bowden would be decent but probably too old.

Hopefully he sticks with it for several more years. The guy is a huge part of college football.

I used to despise Corso, until I learned to not take him so seriously. Now, like others here, I kinda like him.
