Whatever happened to Marquis Johnson?

We had a prized WR recruit a few years back who was supposed to be a gamechanger. I notice there's a Marquis Johnson playing DB at Alabama, and another one playing WR at Texas Tech. Is one of these the guy who was supposed to come here?

Probably Myron Hardy from McNeil. I don't think he will get to play if he is even on the team. That may have just been a rumor

serious answer: marquis johnson (the recruit from champaign, il) played a year at texas tech after playing at some junior college -- but didn't actually play in too many games AFAIK. he had like a handful of catches (could be as few as one in the entire season). after that one year at tech, and somewhat surprisingly, he declared for the NFL draft. went undrafted.

end of story.

One of the players I miss is Mike Williams. Looked outstanding at DE his first few times he played then he had academic trouble and never made it back. Whatever happened to him?
